Even during a Break

In March 1974 the Third Session of the Fifth Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was held in the presence of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung in Pyongyang.

During a break, he met an official of a shipyard and inquired in detail into its general state and capacity of shipbuilding. He set forth ways and methods for renovating the shipyard, saying that only when they had many ships could they catch large quantities of fish and supply them to the people.

That day he had a prompt measure taken to ease the shortage of construction forces for the project aimed at modernizing the shipyard.
